Troop Seamstress
As
you most know Nora Washburn is the coordinator of our
council-wide uniform exchange.
What you may not know is that she has offered to sew any/all
of our CURRENT patches onto our Troop uniforms, jackets and totes. Please
contact her for rates for past years and Boy Scout uniforms.
REQUIREMENTS:
Unwrap
the item if it is in packaging, staple or paper clip into
place where you want it. PLEASE DO NOT GLUE
into place, it mucks up the needle of the sewing machine.
If you don't care where the patches go, just give them to
her in a baggie with your scout's name on it with the item
she's sewing it onto. Turn around is usually 1-2 weeks
or at the following event or meeting day.
PLEASE
NOTE:
Participation
patches from Brownies will not be placed on the Junior
vest/sash or tote. Anything earned as Brownies - goes
onto the Brownie Vest/sash or tote. IF
you
do not want to take the time to sew them on - or have them
sewn on - please return any/all badges, pins or patches
to
Mrs. Wood so we can refund the troop this money.

Exchange
Is
your daughter growing like a "weed"? Kelsy's
mom, Nora, has volunteered to be the Uniform Exchange
coordinator for our Mi Casa Service Unit.
Though
the selection is probably slim at the moment, any support
and used uniforms you can donate to the exchange would be
appreciated. And, as the selection grows, feel free to
"upsize" your daughter's uniform when necessary.
